An Open Book

what does it mean to really be in open book. telling all your business? telling all your secrets? Telling all your goals and everything you've ever thought of? well there's some type of truth to that but not completely and that's what makes this post probably a little bit more interesting than the others I've made before.

When you think about being an open book , its kind of like telling your own story but in moderation, most biographies have a full blown story about a person and they tell the ins and outs of their lives with other things that we as the reader don't know about and its so interesting at time. its crazy because as open as we think they're being in their book its the outside that we don't truly get to exploit in real time. I think being an open book can have its advantages but also disadvantages. I think you have to be willing to accept criticism, hurt, dissapointment, opinion, and change for every aspect of your life. a lot of us as Gen-z Human beings is social media isn't a realistic place to search for answers AT ALL. As im sitting here I think about how I was never open to other opinions and was so stubborn and not willing to hear what was said from other people including those who wanted to help me in life and I feel like it was so selfish and I had to grow up in so many ways. That's why I was able to develop my brain a lot faster than everyone my age because living in a state of mind that nothing else matters or not realizing having and open heart or mind to everything else could actually help me for the better, help me make. smarter choices, think healthier in all aspects, its just a mindset more than anything.

I leave you the reader with this, as a person be willing and open o receive anything they may come out of nowhere and be open to it as well as excepting others opinion and what you may think is wrong or try to put yourself in their shoes to try to give your mind a better understanding because some knowledge is better than none and that's where a lot of people go wrong all the time. We live in this society that we think everything that gets put on social media and TV and media period is bad and thats the way want you to look at it to distract you from the real world. Being in college is a blessing with an opportunity to build and learn and understand what life is all about and get in a better place mentally, working harder in classes , pursuing what you actually want to do and as stated before "having an open mind" as well as "being an open book" and making a choice based of your heart and knowing "THIS Is what I see myself doing the next 10 years" and continue to grow.
